Absence of oak aging in this Viognier combines with extravagant lees contact, as well as the exclusion of oxygen, in stainless steel to concentrate welcoming aromatics and luscious flavors. This white wine shows juicy and bright pear, passion fruit, and hints of citrus on a gently herbal frame. Can be consumed now, but also has structure for cellaring.
Pair with venison scaloppine or other game, pan-fried blue crab cakes, or sea scallops gratin, poultry dishes and Asian cuisine.
